About The Designer You
Who is behind The Designer You?
The Designer You is the webshop of Marie Gevaert and Di-Jet, a Belgian digital textile printing company. We have been printing textiles since 2001 and print every order ourselves in our workshop in Belgium.
Where are your products made?
All products are printed in Belgium. We only print when you order, so nothing is mass-produced or kept in stock.
Designing & ordering
How does ordering a personalized product work?
- Choose your product, size or colour
- Upload your photo(s) or design on the product page
- Add your design instructions, such as text, colours or placement
- Receive a digital proof and approve it
- We print, finish and ship your order
Will I see my design before it is printed?
Yes. After every order you first receive a digital proof by email. Production only starts after you approve it. You can ask for adjustments before you give the go-ahead.
Which file types can I upload?
JPG, PNG and PDF. For logos and artwork, a PDF or high-resolution PNG gives the best result.
What photo gives the best result?
Use the original file from your phone or camera. Screenshots and photos downloaded from social media are compressed and can print blurry. Choose a sharp, well-lit photo and leave some space around faces. Not sure about your photo? Upload it anyway – we check every file when we prepare your proof.
Can I add text, a name or initials?
Yes. Add your text in the design instructions on the product page, or in the initials field where available. You will see it in your proof before we print.
Can I order just one item?
Yes. Most products can be ordered from 1 piece.
Do you offer quotes for larger quantities, teams or companies?
Yes. For sports teams, events, company gifts or larger orders, contact us for a quote with your logo or design.
Shipping & delivery
How fast will I receive my order?
We produce your order quickly after you approve your proof: orders are processed within 2–3 business days. Delivery in Belgium usually takes up to 5 business days. Other European countries take 5–10 business days, depending on the destination.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to Belgium and countries across the European Union.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping within Belgium is €4.99. Shipping to other European countries is €14.99. The exact cost is shown at checkout.
Which carrier do you use? Can I track my order?
We ship with bpost. Once your order has shipped, you receive an email with your tracking number, which is active within 24 hours.
Returns & payment
Can I return a personalized product?
Personalized and custom-made products are made especially for you and cannot be returned, unless they are defective or not as ordered. That's why we always send a digital proof for your approval first.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
Please inspect your order on receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna and more – all available at checkout.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Our gift cards let the recipient design their own personalized product.
